Phones, and the wiring behind them
Most of APG’s work is business phone systems. It installs Grandstream IP phones and the systems that run them, sized to the business, whether that’s a family shop with a handful of extensions or a company with several locations that need to call each other like they’re in the same building.
A lot of jobs start with the wiring. APG runs new Cat5e and Cat6 data cable and punches it down on patch panels, and it pulls fiber for local and wide area networks in existing buildings and new construction. If a phone system or a network is part of a remodel, it’s a lot easier to bring APG in before the walls close up.
It also designs paging systems, hangs the paging horns, and services the Valcom and Bogen paging equipment that’s already on the wall, along with Wi-Fi networks for businesses.

How it fits with NPTech
Advanced Products Group is an NPTech company. Its sales team still answers at an nptel.com address, a holdover from the New Paris Telephone name.
A phone system needs a line to run over, which is where NPTech’s own phone service comes in, with SIP trunking for business systems. Most businesses that come to APG for phones also need a connection and someone to keep the computers running, and that’s Community Fiber and SimplifyTech.
