At NPTech, we believe that your information is your business, not ours. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring you have a transparent understanding of how your information is handled on np-tech.com and the tools we link to, including the fiber availability search we operate jointly with Community Fiber. This policy is written to be plain and readable, not buried in legal jargon.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide when requesting service, support, or shareholder information, including:

• Account information: Name, address, phone number, and email address.
• Request details: The content of your message, and — depending on the form — your relationship to the company, shares of interest, or the phone service you're asking about.

Our website also uses the following data:

• Essential security data: Firebase App Check and Google reCAPTCHA help protect public forms. We store pseudonymized IP identifiers, random session identifiers, rate-limit counters, and limited abuse signals to prevent spam and service disruption.
• Optional site analytics: Only after you select "Allow analytics," we may record the page, a pseudonymous random session identifier, a general referrer category, and device type. We retain our raw page-view records for up to 13 months.
• Optional session replay: With the same permission, Microsoft Clarity may record interactions on informational pages to help us improve usability.
• Address lookups: When you use the address search on our links page or continue to an availability check, the address you enter is sent to Google Places and to the shared serviceability lookup tool we operate with Community Fiber, to provide that requested feature.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely for:

• Routing your enquiry to the right NPTech staff member or operating company.
• Responding to shareholder, phone service, and general enquiries.
• Protecting forms and systems against spam, fraud, and abuse.
• Improving our website when you permit analytics.

3. We Do Not Sell Your Data

We do not track the websites you visit for the purpose of building advertising profiles.

4. Service Providers and Information Sharing

We use service providers only for the purposes described above, including:

• Google Firebase, Analytics, App Check, reCAPTCHA, and Places: Hosting, database, security, optional analytics, and address lookups.
• Microsoft Clarity: Optional analytics and session replay on informational pages. For more information, see the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
• SMTP2GO: Delivery of form notifications to the appropriate NPTech staff member and, when enabled, a confirmation to the address you provide.
• Serviceability lookup: The shared availability tool we operate with Community Fiber, for address lookups you choose to use.
• NPTech operating companies: Community Fiber, Quality Cablevision, SimplifyTech, and Advanced Products Group, when your request is about a service one of them provides.
• Legal requirements: If required by a valid court order, subpoena, or search warrant.

5. Your Privacy Choices

Analytics is off until you choose "Allow analytics." Selecting "Essential only" keeps Firebase Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and our custom page-view logger disabled. Use the Privacy choices button at the bottom of any page to change your preference. A changed preference applies to future collection; service and security features continue to work without analytics.

6. Retention and Security

Our custom raw page-view records expire after 13 months. Short-lived rate-limit and abuse-control records carry expiration timestamps and are removed automatically. Contact, shareholder, and service records are retained for up to 2 years, or sooner once a request is resolved. Third-party providers retain data according to their applicable agreements and settings. We limit access to enquiry and analytics data to authorized staff. We use industry-standard security measures — including Google Firebase's authentication and security rules — to protect data in transit and at rest. No internet transmission is completely secure; we encourage you not to send sensitive information such as full account numbers or passwords via web forms. 8. Your Privacy Rights

As an Indiana resident, you have the following rights under the Indiana Consumer Data Protection Act (INCDPA), effective January 1, 2026:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
• Opt out of analytics: Choose or revoke analytics consent at any time with the Privacy choices button at the bottom of the site.
• Non-discrimination: We will not deny you service or treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.

California residents may also have rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what data we hold and the right to request deletion.

9. Children's Privacy

Our websites are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information through one of our sites, please contact us at info@nptel.com and we will promptly delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of our websites after any update constitutes your acknowledgment of the revised policy.
